“The Wild Party was something I first painted back in 2016 - I created this painting of many animals in one canoe as my celebration and call to inclusiveness. No matter where you are from, how big or small, we are all is this together (as symbolized by the canoe) and we must make room for each other to travel together forward. Anyone who has ever sat in a canoe knows how quickly they can tip; we must take great care of this ‘ride’ as we travel along.”
